Bev Peters

Beverly Peters is a Licensed Massage Therapist. Massage Therapy is inspiring work for her.

With years of experience, knowledge skills and further specialized education by Dr. Catherin Maxwell ND, Brian Utting School of Massage, Stephen Evanko PHD and Pat O’Rouke, Beverly has effective and helpful methods that alleviate sore, achy and tight muscles. Bev was born in Manson and graduated Manson High School. Upon moving back to Manson in 2001, she has been happily serving the Chelan community for over 15 years.

Bev is certified by the State of Washingtron to practice Intraoral Massage. She is excited to bring this helpful technique to the Chelan valley at Lakeland Chiropractic Clinic.

Intraoral Massage works on the muscles both inside and outside the mouth and is combined with massage of the neck, facial, a scalp muscles. The muscles of the jaw are used in chewing and speaking. This technique can be very helpful for people who suffer from TMJ dysfunction, headaches, clenching/grinding. It also may be beneficial for those with head injuries, whiplash and chronic pain. The amount of massage pressure used to treat those sensitive muscles is adapted to each patient. There is no extra charge for Intraoral Massage and it can be included with any length of massage service.

Massage provides a great source of freedom from pain, motion limitations, muscle spasms and cramping.

If you suffer from sore, tight neck muscles (from working at a computer or desk all day), gentle massage can relieve muscle pain and tension headaches. Many rotator cuff shoulder problems are caused by knotted muscles, triggering pain and limited range of motion. For those constantly on their feet, consider massage to improve circulation and relieve tension on plantar fascia.

Before beginning treatment, we assess your areas of pain or tightness, range of motion, and what activities aggravate your pain. Beginning with gentle massage to affected muscles then moving into more of a deep tissue massage. Your massage will be tailored to your particular body’s needs. Muscles respond best with a 60 minute massage session, however, a 30 minute session can be beneficial to targeted muscles. Bev uses a variety of methods to get the best results for you.

Pain can hold you back. Beverly would love to help you live a better life. Call to schedule your appointment today!
